Verismo Networks recently included Roxio CinemaNow streaming media purchases for the VuNow IPTV box, further enhancing the capability of such a device. This video-on-demand box will augment its strength by gaining access to Sonic Solutions’ 250 content providers in addition to downloading YouTube video content. The VuNow system will comprise of a set-top box that will come in both standard- and high-definition versions, where a USB Wi-Fi dongle is the way to stream content straight onto the VuNow PoD. Apart from CinemaNow content and YouTube, this particular setup will also be able to connect to other websites, internet TV and others, playing back content stored on USB drives. The VuNow SD and HD is going for $129 and $149.
