Finepix Real 3D W1 hands-on (stereo 3D digital camera)

Earlier today I saw the Finepix Real 3D W1 in action. If you pay attention, you will see that the camera has two lenses that can be used to take a stereo 3D photo or video. To actually view the 3D effect, it is possible to use a special monitor, or simply use stereo glasses and a compatible monitor. This time around I used the Nvidia 3D vision glasses. The effect is pretty cool, and the 3D effect is quite obvious. That said, it’s not like “normal human vision”, it’s more like a fancy hologram. Still, depending on the environment, photos can be very fun to watch. Videos work pretty much in the same way. I wish that you could see what the stereo look like, but it can’t be shown with a simple photo. The image quality could be much better, but the market is just too small for now.
