Mobile versions of websites have never been all that hot, but we’re fairly sure that many folks were still disappointed that Google News’ simplified version wasn’t all that nice. Fortunately Google isn’t going to sit back and take flak that its sites aren’t good, and it has revamped the site for iPhone, Android and Palm Pre users. One of the nicer features is the “Jump to” link which will bring up a window that allows you to skip to the news section of your choice, saving you a couple of clicks. Check out the Google News site on your (supported) phone to see the new layout.
