Well, Bandai certainly doesn’t think that they’re gone, and with the Tamagochi ID, let’s see if people go crazy over these things again. The Tamagochi ID is available in 6 colors, and you’re able to customize your Tamagochi by downloading accessories, rare items and mini games via your mobile phone, then transmitting the data via infrared port. Oh, and in keeping up with the times, the Tamagochi ID also sports a color LCD display, much nicer than those monochrome displays back then, don’t you think?
