SplashData Acquires Iambic

[CES 2010] SplashData has announced its acquisition of Iambic, Inc., at CES 2010. Iambic are the folks who are behind the award-winning Agendus calendaring and time management solution for the iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Palm OS and Symbian devices. SplashData too makes rather useful apps for various platforms, such as SplashMoney and SplashID. It has been confirmed that Iambic will be retaining a separate website, user forum and brand, but SplashData will begin cross-promoting the 2 lines of applications, and it looks like they’re going to be a force to reckoned with. Hopefully this means that there will be even more, and even better apps released soon.
