Asus EeeMedia EM0501

Is there no end to the Eee brand? Guess not, with Asus coming up with their EeeMedia EM0501 machine which does resemble the Eee Box closely at first glance. What makes the EeeMedia EM0501 different is a more technical-based S5PV210 800MHz Samsung ARM processor, 512MB RAM, Ethernet connectivity, a 2.5″ drive bay and a remote control, missing out of Wi-Fi connectivity which is a rather strange decision considering this is meant to take a stab at the Apple TV and Western Digital TV. Expect this puppy to handle 1080p HD video and support various formats including MPEG1/4, H.264, WMV, VC-1, DivX, Xvid, VOB and MKV.
