BlackBerry Tablet Device To Arrive In 2011?

While there isn’t any official word on such a device just yet, word is going around that RIM is busy working on a tablet device, codenamed the BlackPad or Cobalt. According to the rumor, the device will sport an 8.9-inch display and could be thinner and smaller than Apple’s iPad. If such a device were to become a reality, it’s expected to be unveiled sometime in 2011, sporting a 3G connection, Wi-Fi, and possibly sync with a BlackBerry smartphone. Just how a BlackBerry tablet will work in tandem with a BlackBerry phone will be an interesting idea. The question is: would you want to buy a BlackBerry tablet over an iPad?

Note: The picture above is obviously just a concept.
