Joyplus goes tablet crazy with 5-, 7- and 10-inch models

Never heard of Joyplus before? We don’t blame you, as this is a China-based manufacturer that hasn’t exactly made its mark worldwide just yet, although they are trying hard with their latest effort which comes in the form of the 5″, 7″ and 10″ tablets. The largest models will be powered by Windows 7, while the smaller units seem to be pretty happy with the Google Android operating system. At first glance, many people could very well mistake the 10″ model for an oversized iPod touch, but what sets this apart is its HDMI connectivity not to mention the standby USB port and SD memory card slot. Its 5″ and 7″ models are powered by ARM-based processors from Marvell and TeleChips, respectively, with the former sporting a 624MHz Marvell PXA303 processor, an 800 x 480 resolution display, 128MB RAM, and a 2600mAh battery with the rather dated Android 1.5 – can’t they throw in something newer? As for the 7″ model, this will run off a 600MHz dual core ARM926 processor complete with an 800 x 480 resolution display, 128MB RAM and a 2000mAh battery. Check out the video of these devices in action at Computex 2010 right after the jump.
