Stereoscopic 3D is taking off in a big way, and it looks set to encroach on our living rooms more and more with 3D projectors, 3D gaming and 3D movies making their presence known (and felt). RealD wants to make sure your little ones do not miss out on the experience as well, hence the introduction of kid-friendly 3D glasses that will debut with the release of Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 3 movie. Each of these kids glasses will be individually packaged to ensure that there is no contamination as well. While it might be sealed fresh, does that mean our environment will be under more strain due to the additional waste generated from all the packaging?
