Acer has announced its new S1 Series of LCD displays, which are touted to be extremely thin, and also eco-friendly. Display sizes range from 18.5-inch to 23-inches, and they measure in at just 13mm-15mm thick. The EcoDisplay logo is displayed, indicating its low environmental impact, thanks to the use of eco-friendly materials and low power consumption. The displays offer VGA and DVI ports with HDCP encryption, an HDMI port (on the 21 and 23-inch models), 12,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, and full HD resolution. Pricing for these displays will begin at £119.99 ($184) for the 18.5-inch model, and up to £169.99 ($260) for the 23-inch model.
