Archos to Add Smaller Android Tablets to IFA Lineup

Archos, maker of portable media players running the Android operating system, has teased images of its rumored Archos 28 and Archos 32 tablets, which will be smaller Android tablets to complement the company’s home tablet lineup.

The Archos 28 is said to be have a 2.8-inch screen while the Archos 32 will sport a 3.2-inch display. The tablets will probably use an ARM8 CPU while the home tablets will use an ARM9 processor. Pricing is anticipated to range between $100-$350 for the devices, which will most likely rely on WiFi for connectivity and eschew phone and mobile broadband radios.

Archos is expected to show off and/or announce these new Android PMP tablets at the IFA show.
