Networked Frontline Gloves Improve Communication

Communication is an important thing, especially in dangerous places. Now the Frontline Gloves might be able to improve communication in areas where hand/finger gestures might not be good enough. These gloves allow firefighters to communicate wirelessly with each other without speaking, thanks to the use of coded LED buttons that are embedded on the gloves. All the wearer has to do is gesture, and the meaning will be translated and transmitted to the LED indicators on the gloves of his team members. Aside from communicating, the Frontline Gloves also can function as a proximity sensor, helping firefighters avoid obstacles in smoke-obscured spaces.
