New Chrome Beta Offers Faster Performance, Autofill and Interface Enhancements

Some new features have made it into the latest Chrome beta, and if you’re giving it a test drive, you may already have made use of the new Autofill feature to complete forms that require information such as names, addresses, email addresses and credit card numbers. The interface has also been updated with a streamlined toolbar, enhanced Omnibox, and better option layout. Synchronization has been improved to include bookmarks, references, themes, and extensions, making it easier for users to move between computers as long as they have a Google account. Google also claims that the new beta is 15 percent faster on the SunSpider and V8 benchmarks when compared to the last beta, which will be great news for performance-oriented users.
