As expected, Huawei has unveiled the Ideos, the company’s first smartphone to come bundled with Android 2.2 from the get go. The Ideos isn’t a high-end device, but should be able to compete pretty well in the low-end smartphone market. Expect the Ideos to be available in some markets over the next week and it should set you back from $100-$200. You can check out a video of the Ideos in action after the jump, and specifications of the phone include:
- Android 2.2
- 2.8-inch 240 x 320 pixel display
- 528MHz processor
- HSDPA
- Wi-Fi b/g/n
- Bluetooth
- 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera

Android Android is mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Although Android is not a community-driven project, Google does release the source code as open-source under the Apache license.
