New Sony Readers Offer New Displays And Chassis Design

We already knew that Sony would be offering some new Sony Readers and now three new models have gone official, namely the Daily Edition, Touch Edition, and the Pocket Edition. All three Readers offer Pearl e-ink displays that offer greater touch sensitivity, contrast, speed, and also come with a stylus that allows users to jot notes right on the pages themselves. 2GB of memory is built-in and can be expanded via an SD card or Memory Stick Pro. The main difference between all three models, aside from display size, is that the Daily Edition offers 3G and Wi-Fi, while the other two don’t. Expect to pay $180, $229, and $299 for the PRS-350 Pocket Edition, PRS-650 Touch Edition, and PRS-930 Daily Edition respectively. The Daily Edition will be available this November.
