We already know that Motorola is going to offer an Android-powered tablet sooner or later. What we don’t know is what the official name for it will be, though it was previously rumored to be Stingray. Now a trademark application by Motorola has been discovered, grabbing the term “Xoom” in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and also Taiwan. The category applied for is defined as “Mobile computers and related accessories”, so a tablet device could probably fall into that category too. Do you think that the Android tablet will be called the Motorola Xoom when it’s finally released, or will the name be used for some other device instead?
