lenovo V370 and V-SeriesThere’s no question that Lenovo made a name for itself by building dependable and solid professional laptops with the ThinkPad Series. However, not everyone wants to look like an “office person” (there’s nothing wrong with that), so the V-Series has been built to look nice and professional at the same time. Again, this update features Intel 2nd Generation Core processors (aka “Sandy Bridge“), but Lenovo has added its own touch with RapidBoot, a boot optimization that can start Windows in 10 seconds according to Lenovo (at least, with a clean Windows installation). Because it is a professional machine, there’s also added protection with a backup and recovery system, and a strong data encryption because the reality is: these things get lost/stolen pretty easily. While the hardware is easy to replace, your information is not. To unlock your data, you can choose to use the fingerprint reader, and there’s even a USB port locker to prevent quick data theft if you leave the laptop un attended.
