Fancy looking tablets are coming your way later this year, what with the BlackBerry PlayBook from RIM and the highly sought after iPad 2 (that is going to be a surefire hit, make no mistake about it), but what about folks involved in businesses? Panasonic has the answer for them with the BizTab tablet, also known as the JT-H380VT if you have a penchant for model names and numbers. While it is uber rugged by being an all-weather device which is dust-proof, shockproof and waterproof, we do question the Windows CE operating system running on this 6.5″ tablet. Boasting a VGA resolution and LED backlight, the BizTab will be powered by a 400Mhz Freescale i.MX27L 32-bit RISC processor aided by 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, an SD/SDHC memory card slot, a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front with a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED light, Bluetooth 2.0, IrDA, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, we don’t have any word on its pricing just yet. Chances are you won’t see this arrive anywhere outside of Japan in the near (or distant) future, so if you’re a Yakuza who wants a tablet to go along with your rough and tumble lifestyle, this seems to be the perfect fit.
