HTC Flyer has their own HTC Scribe “magic pen”, so to speak, and whether the masses find that appealing or not really depends on what their preferences are. DinoDirect.com on the other hand, has just introduced their new Magic Stick Smart Pen that will target the iPad,  iPhone, computers and netbooks, delivering the benefits of a digital pen alongside having full flash memory capabilities. Hmmm, this is starting to sound promising…

Imagine what you can do with this – drawing your favorite images on your tablet using a graphics editing software, writing anywhere on regular paper so that the device will capture and store your work in real time in its flash memory, while the included My Script Notes 3.0 will let you convert all handwritten information into text, although we have yet to see the success rate of the conversion.

Nothing exactly groundbreaking and new, but at least this one comes with iPad and iPhone support compared to other models that were released by different manufacturers in the past. Powered by a 1.5 V battery, it has an effective wireless range of 10 meters, and will retail a few pennies short of $100. [Press Release]
