If you love going scuba diving, you would know what a rush it is to experience a totally different world than the one we’re familiar with up here – after all, there is a sense of weightlessness when underwater, not to mention being able to check out other kinds of wildlife that you would normally be unable to see while traversing land. Well, all that is fine and dandy, but the kind of gear you carry with you adds up to a substantial amount, which is where the Power Snorkel comes in – serving as a compromise between snorkeling and scuba diving, where it comprises of a floating air pump that will no longer require you to wear an oxygen tank, but remain under longer normal when snorkeling.

A 20 foot hose will lead from the Power Snorkel’s floating air tank to a Y-divider below, where it will then split off into a couple of additional 20 foot hoses that end in regulators, letting 2 people to buddy dive without losing their sense of freedom to explore where they want. The Power Snorkel is good enough for dives about 50 to 70 minutes long on a single full charge, and the flag sticking out of the top makes it easy to spot just where the divers, should the pump actually drift away from its original location. Would you fork out $2,495 for this device?
