We do know that NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 will boast of 5 cores – but will all 5 cores see action in a device that is as small as the ZTE T98? It boggles the mind when you think about it. I wonder what kind of power the battery is able to pump out until it becomes exhausted, and which software will take advantage of all those cores to get the job done as fast as possible? Well, the ZTE T98 must have gotten plenty of love when it was paraded at the PT/Expo Comm in China, judging by the sheer number of fingerprints on it.

This 7″ slate device with NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 processor inside will run on the latest Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system, sporting a 1,280 x 800 resolution display, 1GB RAM, a 5-megapixel shooter at the back as well as a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video calls. Storage-wise, you get 16GB of internal memory, crammed into a body that is 11.5mm thin while holding a 3G modem inside.

Hopefully the 4,000mAh battery is able to hold the fort in the long run without having you run to the nearest power outlet all the time. No idea on pricing nor a release date, but we do hope to see this beast hit the FCC soon.
