Looking to get yourself or someone you know a netbook for Christmas? If you are, it looks as though ASUS’s Eee PC 1025C and 1025CE netbooks could be released in time for the holidays, or that’s the impression that we’re getting from the photo above which shows the netbooks wrapped up in present boxes.

These netbooks were debuted quite a while back but they have yet to see a release, so perhaps ASUS was holding out for the holiday season before releasing them. For those who may have forgotten, in terms of hardware specs, both the 1025C and 1025CE will feature 10.1” displays and will run on Intel’s Atom N2600 and N2800 processors. They will come in either 1.66GHz or 1.83GHz frequencies and will feature integrated graphics.

They will both feature a 6 cell battery that ASUS claims will give you 12 hours of continuous use, or 21 days of standby time. They will feature HDMI and USB 3.0 ports, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities and a 500GB hard drive. The 1025C will be available in eight colors – black, blue, red, gray, white matte, glossy white, pink and brown, while the 1025CE will come in 3 colors – pink, blue and purple. No word on pricing, although they were both given estimated prices of €249 and €299 respectively.
