If you are not claustrophobic, do not care looking like a weirdo and have a hard time concentrating in open space working environments, then, Efi, a concept design by Mathieu Servais, would the perfect Christmas gift for you!

Efi looks like a giant lamp (see picture) but instead of featuring a light bulb, the lampshade acts as a computer display, from where the user can check emails or browse the internet. I can imagine that some people could even hack the concept by adding various types of curtains to totally enclose their private space…


Mathieu Servais should send an Efi to Mark Zuckerberg to give him another point of view regarding privacy, maybe visual cues would help him better understand what it means :) not sure if his employees would be happy to use the device, well, it should be on an opt-in basis.
