Metal Gear Solid 5 Announced by Hideo Kojima

It can’t get more official than this: Kojima himself (the MGS creator) has told PlayStation Magazine that Metal Gear Solid 5 is in the works. I know, I know – Solid Snake died in Metal Gear Solid 4, so what the… ? Well, we know that Hideo Kojima wanted to conclude the Metal Gear series, but I bet that Konami was just not ready to see the golden goose go. After going back in the past with Snake Eater and Peace Walker, it looks like (Solid) Snake -or one of his clones- may be back in action.

If you have not played Metal Gear (what?!), or have missed one episode, Konami has just released the Metal Gear Solid HD collection that includes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

I think that I smell “PlayStation 4″ by the time MGS5 launches.
