While the HTC Wildfire S, a mid-range Android-powered handset, will continue advancing in terms of its operating system version, hitting Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread most recently, it seems as though the Wildfire S will miss out on the HTC Sense 3.0 user interface. The reason behind this? The hardware is simply not up to snuff when it comes to handling the latest version of the HTC home-brewed user interface. There are early reports going about that claim the latest Android 2.3.5 update will fix all the bugs associated with unlocking and call answering, but there is no detailed changelog made available for our easy reading just yet. No idea on whether the update will roll out worldwide, or is it available to select markets at the moment. HTC Sense 3.0 looks likely to remain the domain of the higher end models from HTC, and will continue to do so for the immediate future.
