If someone were to give you 2 full days to code a game, just what would your best effort look like? I suppose it is somewhat akin to putting the right tools into the correct pair of hands – a 48-hour marathon coding session saw Minecraft creator Markus “Notch” Persson inspired to roll out a top-down action game, calling it Minicraft. Styled after the NES titles of yore, Minicraft does bring back fond memories of Notch’s famous free-to-play game, where you will control an avatar, going about to chop trees down, mine rocks, and go up against other monsters in the game world. The main goal in Minicraft? To rid the world of the Air Wizard’s presence, and just in case you lose track of your objective, you can always check out the classic Objectives screen. To enjoy Minicraft, you can download it or play it right from the browser itself.
