I know that we talked about the SupaBoy back in April this year, touting a summer release date, but that did not happen. No sir, in fact, it has been delayed all the way to December, but better late than never, no? At least it will roll out before Christmas, as you can now place your order for the SupaBoy Handheld Video Game Console. Shaped to resemble the SNES controller, the SupaBoy will come with a 3.5″ display, letting you enjoy your old school 16-bit titles as long as you have a working SNES cartridge.

The top loading port is also compatible with Super Famicom cartridges, so it really doesn’t matter which cartridges you purchase online. Specially designed to emulate the original SNES controller, it comes with a D-pad, face buttons, left and right shoulder buttons, as well as a couple of front loading ports are compatible with full size SNES controllers, in addition to video/audio out so that up to two players are able to enjoy the SupaBoy on a standard TV screen. I guess you still have use for that CRT TV in the attic, no? The SupaBoy Handheld Video Game Console will retail for $79.99 if you are interested.
