[CES 2012] What is extremely small, cute as a button, and carries plenty of data? Most of us would remember the Mimobot USB flash drive range from Mimoco that takes advantage of the intellectual property of movie franchises like Star Wars, packaging USB flash drives with a higher-than-normal price tag just because some Star Wars fan wants to collect them all. Well, we will not be dealing with USB flash drive this time around, but rather, a microSD memory card reader that functions as a USB flash drive when you have a microSD memory card inserted (up to 32GB). As for the design, DC Comics and Star Wars fans will be pleased, since the Mimomicro series will feature three dimensional sculpted characters and the first in a series of vehicles.

With a cap-free design that ought to banish all headaches and nightmares of lost caps in older USB flash drive models, the Mimomicro will facilitate data transfer thanks to a flip-out USB plug, and to further ensure you won’t lose the Mimomicro, it has a built-in keychain and LED indicator light, coming in a 1.6″ x 1″ package. The Star Wars range will include Darth Vader, Yoda, C-3PO, Chewbacca, and the Millennium Falcon, while DC Comics is represented by Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. No word on pricing just yet, but these will arrive in March this year.
