We have already reviewed the Motorola Xyboard 8.2, also known as the XOOM 2 Media Edition 8.2 if you prefer to call it by its more familiar moniker, but that does not mean we took the liberty to tear this puppy apart and check out the innards. No sir, we have left that task to the folks over at the FCC, where the Xyboard 8.2 has gone through the full teardown treatment, after appearing on the FCC back in 2011, of course. The internal photos snapped by the FCC show off the Xyboard’s main board, camera modules, display and antennas, but does not reveal additional information concerning the device’s chips. You might want to hit up the FCC’s teardown page by your own and see whether you are able to discover something else with that eagle eye of yours that everyone else missed…
