The smart fortwo car is definitely cute, and if you cannot achieve parallel parking in a standard sized parking lot with this vehicle, then I would suggest you stick to driving in front of a virtual screen. It is interesting to note that add-ons and accessories for vehicles tend to be limited to stuff like spoilers and perhaps more menacing looking rims, but here we are with the Dock+Go from Rinspeed, being a “backpack” of sorts for your smart car. While commuting from one place to another is what your smart car is good at, the lack of boot space could prove to be a problem if you need to haul stuff around, hence the Dock+Go that can be plugged into your smart car, giving you more than enough space to ferry around your groceries for the month.

There is also a built-in isothermal box in the Dock+Go, and perhaps companies that perform deliveries might want to look into how adding the smart fortwo into their current fleet might actually help improve delivery times due to the high degree of maneuverability of the vehicle, complete with the Dock+Go this time around. Currently, the Dock+Go remains in the conceptual stage, and are in talks with potential manufacturers at the moment. Anyone willing to place a downpayment for this should it arrive? [Press Release]
