The power of voice was once again demonstrated at the new iPad’s unveiling earlier this morning, and here is more news concerning voice functionality – Ford SYNC owners are now able to enable one to access tablet functionality through speech alone. Among the SYNC-compatible devices include both iPads, the Amazon Kindle, Amazon Kindle Fire, the defunct HP TouchPad, the HTC Flyer, the Barnes & Noble Nook Color and the Sony Tablet S. Of course, SYNC will ensure that some tablets and e-readers will be able to receive their dose of juice when plugged in via SYNC’s USB connection. When available, Ford engineers will be testing the new iPad.
