Whenever we travel, sometimes what we truly crave for is a nice home cooked meal as opposed to eating out all the time. Unfortunately getting access to a kitchen while on the road might not be as easy as you think, although we think that this mobile kitchen concept by Merwyn Wijaya might be able to solve that, or at least be worth checking out.

As you might have surmised in the rendering above, this mobile kitchen concept basically consists of an induction stovetop, a collapsible frying pan, a slot for you to put your various cooking utensils, i.e. knives, spatulas, ladles, etc, and even comes with a chopping board for you to prepare your food on, and all of this can be tied up in one package together using a strap that will come in a variety of colors.

It’s a pretty cool idea, although we don’t see this getting past airport security, but if you travel on the road often then perhaps this would come in useful, or it can even be used by caterers who have to do cooking onsite. Unfortunately this is merely a concept for now, but who wouldn’t mind seeing this made a reality?
