The Starhawk public beta was announced earlier this year, where we do know that a limited edition is also in the pipeline, with gamers being teased further in the Starhawk “Build to Kill” trailer. Well, today marks another milestone in the journey of Starhawk as a game – the Starhawk Beta Update 1.3 is now available, bringing along with it a 32-player map known as “Planet Dust”. This will certainly double the mayhem of an already frantic 8 vs 8 game, and the word epic comes into mind. Apart from additional players joining the fray, you will also have a couple of new vehicles to play with – the Sidewinder Jetbike and the Ox Heavy Tank. The former would most probably be Usain Bolt’s favorite ride, considering its main concentration is just about speed. Since it moves around so fast, it could prove to be extremely difficult to hit, so the Sidewinder Jetbike is the perfect candidate for hit and run attacks, fast road kills, as well as a tactical move of teaming up with others to swarm the enemy base.

As for the Ox Heavy Tank, it sacrifices speed for sheer muscle and firepower. Long range attacks are not an issue with the Ox Heavy Tank, allowing you to make short work of enemy walls from a distance with its explosive shells, and it has enough constitution to survive barrages thanks to its heavily armored shell. Remember, Starhawk Beta ends on March 27th, with the full version of the game ready to rock and roll this coming May 8th release.
