When it comes to naming a vehicle, you cannot go wrong with a serpentine calling card. After all, we know that poisonous snakes strike fear in the hearts of many, not to mention that they move about swiftly. Chrysler intends to leverage on this with their latest SRT Viper that debuted at the New York Auto Show. This is the latest iteration of the Viper, and despite being more powerful, it is also lighter compared to its predecessor. You will find a “Made in the USA” frame that is 50% stiffer compared to the previous model, and obviously, this is all American muscle. You will find a hand-assembled 8.4-liter all-aluminum, V-10 overhead-valve engine that has 640 horses waiting to be unleashed at the tap of your foot. Not only that, this spanking new engine is also 25 pounds lighter compared to the previous model. Will you be targeting the Chrysler 2013 Viper as your next vehicle purchase, or will it remain just a dream for years to come?
