BlasterAxx

Sound connoisseurs Creative has just launched its new range of speakers that have been labeled the Creative BlasterAxx range which sounds just spiffy. Reportedly, it can be powered by a USB 2.0 connection and controlled by an application called Creative Central which works on either iOS or Android devices. However, it can also be controlled via a computer if you don’t have one of those. The BlasterAxx range of speakers are equipped with a patent pending technology that Creative currently prefers to keep mum about; but what they can say is how the speakers come incorporated with a touch-sensitive control panel on the top-side of it, which provides access to five SBX modes like ‘surround’ mode and ‘bass’ mode.

The speakers will come in three different variations with the SBX 20 being the tallest one at 41cm in height followed by the SBX 10 and the SBX 8 which are shorter. In addition to the touch-sensitive panel, Creative has also added a technology called CrystalVoice which apparently helps to reduce unnecessary noise while using a microphone. The range of speakers will connect to smartphones, tablets or any other device via Bluetooh which will allow users to stream audio directly to the speaker. The range of speakers will land in US markets towards the end of July and the pricing for the SBX 20, 10 and 8 are $199, $149 and $99 respectively.
