Another day, another Leica camera, right? Well maybe not but if you love cameras then you might want to take a look at Leica’s M9-P “Edition Hermès”, along with the Leica M9-P “Edition Hermès – Série Limitée Jean-Louis Dumas”. Given that a regular Leica is already pretty expensive, well safe to say that these cameras, which were designed as a collaboration with the Hermès fashion brand, will cost just as much if not more.

So what makes these cameras so special? Well for starters they will incorporate the use of “Veau Swift” calfskin leather in “ocre” which will be supplied by Hermès themselves. They have also been designed by automotive designer, Walter de’Silva and will come engraved serial number to show off its exclusivity and limited edition status. Starting with the M9-P “Edition Hermès”, this model will be limited to 300 units and will come with a Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens. Expect to pay $25,000 for the privilege of owning one of these bad boys.

Next up is the Leica M9-P “Edition Hermès – Série Limitée Jean-Louis Dumas” which not only is a mouthful to say but will be extremely limited and only 100 units will be available. It includes three lenses: a Leica Summicron-M 28 mm f/ 2 ASPH., a Leica Noctilux-M 50 mm f/0.95 ASPH. and a Leica APO-Summicron-M 90 mm f/ 2 ASPH. It will also come bundled with an an exclusive hand-finished Hermès camera bag along with a portfolio of 200 black-and-white images which have been captured by Jean-Louis Dumas with his Leica M camera. How much will this model cost you? A heart-stopping $50,000. Ouch.
