We’re sure that there are many gamers out there who probably own more than one console. Depending on the gamer, they might be more interested in single-player games and might only have one or two controllers max. So what happens when your friends come over and you want to start a four player game? Running out and buying extra controllers is hardly the ideal scenario, RaptorFire’s Cronus USB dongle could be the solution. The accessory, pictured above and spotted by the folks at Engadget is a USB dongle that will allow Xbox controllers to be used on a PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 3 controllers used on an Xbox. Don’t worry as Wii compatibility is being offered as well. According to the company’s press release, the Cronus can be configured via your computer and comes with nine customizable slots that can store configurations for multiple games. No word on a specific release date, although RaptorFire is aiming for a release in two to three months and expects it to be priced anywhere between $50-$60.
