Heads up Lumia owners, if you felt that maybe your handset’s camera app was a bit lacking and could do with more features, Nokia has officially pushed the Camera Extras app for Lumia 900 owners. It was scheduled for a release next week, but we guess Nokia felt that it was good to go, but either way it’s still good news for Lumia 900 owners. So what can you expect in this Camera Extras app? Well you will be getting the much awaited self-timer mode. You will also find three additional modes – Panorama, Action Shot for capturing fast-moving subjects and a Smart Group Shot. What this does is that it takes several photos at once and will select the best faces from its library. This release is intended for the Lumia 900, but fret not as other Lumia phones can expect to receive this app sometime in July. According to Nokia, the app should be available for download for in both the US and China Windows Phone Marketplace, so head on over for the download!
