In-car entertainment systems are not new, but given that our iPads can do a lot more than just watching movies (i.e. surfing, playing games, reading books, etc), it would be a cheaper alternative for an in-car system especially if you already own the iPad. That being said, if such a concept sounds like something you’d be interested in, then X-Doria’s Drive-In iPad case might be one worth your consideration. As pictured above, the Drive-In is expected to be a permanent fixture in your car and comes with a zip that users can slot their iPads in.

It attaches to the vehicle’s headrest via a click-shut strap and all of its ports and buttons are accessible. It even comes with a mesh pouch in the front where you can keep some of your accessories, i.e. styluses, cables, earphones, etc. Priced at $40, it certainly does sound a lot cheaper than installing a DVD player and LCD display panels in your car, especially since the Drive-In can be moved to another car when needed! To place your order or to learn more about the Drive-In, head on over to X-Doria’s website.
