AT&T to stop offering subsidized tablets? While tablets are not as heavily subsidized when compared to phones, they still are to a certain extent which could help make them more affordable to some. However if you’re looking forward to purchasing subsidized tablets from AT&T in the future, you might not be able to thanks to these leaked photos. As you can see in the photos above obtained by Engadget, it states that after the 19th of August, customers who are looking to buy a tablet at subsidized prices will no longer be able to. Instead customers who want a tablet will have to purchase them at standard, no-commitment prices along with DataConnect and MobileShare plans. Since AT&T has yet to release an official statement or make an announcement regarding the matter, we can’t tell if these leaked photos are to be believed. However if you plan on getting a tablet from AT&T, you might want to check with them first whether their tablet subsidies are still in place!
