Despite phone displays these days growing in size, nothing quite beats the joy of watching a video clip or a movie or surfing a webpage on a huge 27” monitor, or maybe even bigger for those who hook their computers up to their TVs. Well if you don’t have the cash to splash on a big TV or don’t find it very convenient or efficient to carry a monitor around with you, then GeChic might have something in store for you with a 15.6” portable monitor that will be made available some time later this year.

Dubbed the OnLap 2501M, apparently this has been designed for your phone in mind and the GeChic monitor will feature a display resolution of 1366×768, sport a pair of speakers, a 9,600mAh battery, inputs for MHL, VGA and HDMI cables and should allow users to hook up their iPhones or Android devices. No word on pricing just yet, but if you’re interested in seeing how GeChic’s previous products have fared, you can check out our review of the OnLap 1301 here.
