Bicycling is a very fun and healthy activity. But biking around in dark can be dangerous since unlike regular vehicles, a bicycle is hard to spot during night. There have been some solutions to this, for instance the use of rear lights. But here is a far cooler and convenient answer to this problem.

Xfire Safety lane illuminates your very own bike lane with the help of lasers. It casts the laser on both sides of the bike while you are pedalling, creating an on-the-go lane for you. Not only does it prompt other people about your exact position, it also look a lot cooler than rear lights.

The safety light comes with two 0.5mW lasers which, Xfire claims, can be seen even when there are a lot of headlights and streetlights flashing around. There are an additional five LEDs to further prompt other drivers of your location.

The light is juiced up with two AAA batteries and is available for ordering at Xfire’s website for a price tag of $40. Moreover, it is weather and shock proof, so you can carry along your illuminated bike lane to the rugged terrains without any issues.
