We’re sure some of you guys might have heard rumblings of a possible Canon EOS 3D camera. The name is most likely not going to be the final name since “3D” would imply it can capture three dimensional images, but until we hear otherwise that’s going to be the name for now. According to the folks at Northlight, they claim to have gotten more information about the alleged device, claiming that the EOS 3D will be sport a whopping 50MP+ image sensor. The sensor is also expected to be found in the Canon EOS 7D MK II which has been rumored for a possible announce in February 2013. Northlight also claims that the EOS 3D will probably see an announcement in late 2013 or possibly in 2014. Since there is nothing else to go on but this, we suggest taking this with a grain of salt for now, but in the meantime what do you guys think about a Canon DSLR camera with massive megapixels? Yay or nay?
