wacom-cintiq-22hdWacom has just announced yet another tablet of theirs, which would come in the form of the Wacom Cintiq 22HD touch. All right, so 22” might seem a tad too large for it to be called a tablet, but do let me have the liberty of calling it that for the moment. This 22” pen display would feature multi-touch functionality, which is somewhat familiar to those who have spotted the Cintiq 24HD that was launched not too long ago. What makes the Cintiq 22HD touch special apart from its multi-touch functionality would be a 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution LCD display, 16.7 million colors gamut, 16 configurable ExpressKeys, an adjustable stand as well as the Cintiq pen to help you get digitally creative. Needless to say, the inclusion of tactile capability would mean the entire shebang is more expensive with a final sticker price of $500, as Wacom readies the Cintiq 22HD touch to hit the market later this May.

With the Wacom Cintiq 22HD touch, users are able to work with digital tools, albeit in a natural and intuitive manner as the multi-touch capability would be able to support gestures for rotating canvases, assist you in zooming images in and out, the works. Got to love Wacom’s professional-level pen performance (2,048 levels of pressure and tilt sensitivity) which is more than capable of producing dazzling artistic effects within creative software applications.
