youtube-for-android-update

Just yesterday Google announced that it was finally rolling out the new Gmail for Android app. They’ve introduced a new slide-out navigation menu in that app, which can be accessed on Android devices by simply swiping to the left. Google is adding the same feature in its other major apps, today they’ve released a new update of YouTube for Android. The update brings slide-out navigation as well as video suggestion overlays.

This new YouTube for Android update is an incremental one, it doesn’t add anything new other than what’s already been mentioned. The slide-out navigation makes it easier for users to access the menu. Apart from this and video suggestion overlays during playback, the app brings various bug fixes and performance improvements. Those who have already downloaded it note in their comments on the Store that the app is more stable and that streaming performance has been improved. YouTube for Android is available as a free download from Google Play Store. Go ahead and give it a test run, do let us know if you notice any other improvements of the app yourself.
