height-techHeart attacks are definitely something that no one in their right mind would want to go through or experience, and it also has been known to be the “silent killer”. Well, we can do our part to make sure that we are all as healthy as a horse, through a proper diet and exercise regime, but at the end of the day, if you are going to be a heart attack victim, there is nothing much one can do about the situation as it strikes you silently and suddenly. I am quite sure that we all know of someone who is as healthy as he or she can be, eating correctly, getting enough sleep, has a stress-free life, and has a body that is kept in shape, looking as though he or she is 10 years younger their age. What if the person is out jogging somewhere more remote than normal, and medical help cannot be obtained immediately?

This is where the Defikopter comes in handy – and should the idea take off literally and figuratively, Germany might be a land filled with these defibrillator drones. Each of these drones will command a six mile radius, where it is more than capable of arriving at the place where the ailing individual in within their range, within a time space of four and a half minutes. A free smartphone app will play a role here, so that the public can “call” these emergency drone services at the drop of a hat. Unfortunately, the Defikopter’s $26,000 price tag makes it sound out of reach for most cities, not to mention the fact that ordinary folk will need to be trained properly to use these.
