Horror games are a dime a dozen and most of them are pretty scary the first time you play them as you never know what to expect. However play these horror games about a dozen times over and you can more or less expect when things will happen, which ultimately reduces the scare factor, which is why upcoming horror game, Daylight, could prove to be a pretty unique experience as the game is expected to change everytime you play it, making it close to impossible to predict when events or monsters might appear. In a way this reminds us of dungeon crawlers such as Diablo where the levels are randomized each time you play, so exits and monsters will be unpredictable, making dungeon runs a more fun and refreshing experience.

Developed by Zombie Studios and using the Unreal Engine 4, its developers promise that everytime you play the game, you will be in for a whole new horror experience. The game will be released for both the PC and the PS4 console come 2014 with no specific dates mentioned, but what do you guys think? Does this sound like a horror game that could provide countless hours of replayability? In the meantime if you want to get an idea of what to expect, you can check out the game’s trailer in the video above.
