google-ordersPurchasing items online are supposed to be hassle free as well as convenient, but there are times when you have that niggling thought at the back of your mind, wondering just when will the item that you ordered arrive. Well, Google Wallet’s most recent version has a new feature that you might find useful, which is known as Orders.

The new feature called Orders will make an appearance on the Google Wallet app for both Android (v. 4.0+, US only) and iOS (v. 6.0+, US only), where it enables the user to automatically track one’s online orders. Apart from that, Google Wallet will also do the heavy lifting by notifying you about the status of your orders, in addition to displaying your past orders, all of it done in a single place so that you need not have to scramble all over the place to figure things out by yourself.

The moment you successfully activate Orders in Google Wallet, you will be able to check out whatever receipts that have been sent to your Gmail directly in the Google Wallet app. Google has worked alongside primary package carriers in the US, thus ensuring that each time your order status is updated, you will be notified of the update via Wallet. This means you can keep tabs on your order regardless of whether it is shipped, out for delivery, or delayed. [Press Release
