Sony unveiled the successor to its flagship Android tablet at Mobile World Congress back in February. Today the company announced that Xperia Z2 tablet’s Wi-Fi variant is now available for pre-sale. It is offered in both 16GB and 32GB flavors for $499.99 and $599.99 through the online Sony Store. Participating Sony Stores will starting selling the tablet from May 4th. White color option is only offered in 32GB, black is available in both 16GB and 32GB.

To compliment the tablet Sony is also going to offer a variety of accessories for purchase. These include a Bluetooth speaker with magnetic charging dock, Bluetooth keyboard with NFC, a protective case and desk stand as well as a noise cancelling headset. Some of these accessories will be available on May 4th, others will become available “at a later date.”

All customers will receive a 30-day free trial of Sony’s Music Unlimited service. They will also get six popular movies from Sony Pictures, including Oscar-winning hits Captain Phillips and American Hustle. Eight PlayStation Mobile games are included as well.

The Xperia Z2 tablet has impressive specifications. This waterproof tablet has a 10.1-inch Full HD display, S-Force front Surround audio with Clear Audio+, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.3Ghz quadcore processor with 3GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS image sensor as well as a 6,000 mAh battery.
