If you’re looking for a set of speakers with quite a bit of kick to it in the form of bass, chances are you’ll probably want to get your hands on a subwoofer. However if you’re looking for recommendations, some audiophiles could be pointing you down the road where you might end up spending hundreds, if not thousands, on a subwoofer.
So if you want something affordable that gets the job done, Logitech has recently announced the Multimedia Speakers Z213 which is a 2.1 speaker setup that will only cost you $29.99. The speakers will be accompanied by a subwoofer so for a price of $29.99, it is pretty damn affordable, although to be fair we cannot comment on the quality of sound since we have yet to test it out ourselves.
According to Logitech, the speaker system will feature a four-inch driver with a down-firing subwoofer. There will be an external controller that allows users to control their speakers, such as adjusting the volume. The subwoofer itself will also come with controls at the back of it where users will be able to adjust bass levels according to their liking.
There will also be a 3.5mm jack that allows users to connect their mobile devices to the speaker, but if you were in the market for wireless audio, the Z213 speaker system will be compatible with the Logitech Bluetooth audio adapter. According to Logitech’s VP of speaker products, Philippe Depallens, “The Logitech Multimedia Speakers Z213 are for people who want great sound quality without breaking their budget. With this 2.1 speaker system, you also get a setup that doesn’t compromise valuable space on your desktop or in your living room.”
